What Information do we collect?

When Using our Site:
Each time you visit our website we will automatically collect the following information:

  • Technical device information, including the device used to access our website (i.e. desktop, mobile or tablet)
  • Information about your visit, including products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page and whether our documents have been downloaded.

We do not collect any personal information unless you submit it to us via a contact form which is emailed to us and stored on our computer.

When Enquiring about a Holiday:
We collect personal details appropropriate to your enquiry. This may simply be your name, address and email.

Booking a holiday
When you book a holiday we will require more information for example but not limited to phone numbers, address, emergency contact details and other information our providers may require.

Why do we collect it?

Visits to our site

  • To allow to carry out marketing analysis (on an anonymised basis).
  • To ensure that the content for our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer
  • To administer our website including troubleshooting

Enquiring about a holiday

Booking a holiday

  • To send you statements and invoices

We may share limited information with our providers to enable reservations to be made e.g. names, country of origin, ages (to ensure suitable and correct services are supplied; for example a child’s bike), and dietary requirements. Contact phone numbers may also be shared if required by our operators. We do not share email information or other contact details with other parties.

Third Party

Where you provide personal data on behalf of a third party (for example but not limited to: your travelling companions or your emergency contact), you will need to ensure that you have their consent.

If you are unable to ensure that you have all necessary and appropriate consents in place, please do not transfer or provide the third party’s personal data to us.

We do not sell or share any customer information, with marketing or other third party organisations who could use your information for marketing purposes.

Booked Holiday
We may share limited information with our providers to enable reservations to be made, for example but not limited to: names, country of origin, ages (to ensure suitable and correct services are supplied), and dietary requirements. Certain operators may require additional information, for example but not limited to: your height (hiring an appropriate sized bike), your weight (scenic helicopter flights). We will only request and share this additional information if necessary. Contact phone numbers may also be shared if required by our operators.

Other people and organisations
We may also allow other people and organisations to use Personal Data we hold about you in the following circumstances:

  • If we, or substantially all of our assets, are acquired or are in the process of being acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us, about our customers, will be one of the transferred assets.
  • If we have been legitimately asked to provide information for legal or regulatory purposes or as part of legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings.
  • If we engage companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Any third parties we may engage are bound by strict contractual provisions with us and only have access to Personal Data needed to perform their functions, and may not use it for other purposes. In addition, they must process the Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as permitted by the Data Protection Laws.

  • All payments are taken online securely either by direct bank to bank transfer.

We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, alert visitors to new areas that we think might be of interest to them when they return to our site, record past activity at a site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site , customise Web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends.
